Description
| You will need: |
| 1 x Nonna’s Sponge Cake Mix |
| 2 large Eggs or equivalent substitute |
| 3/4 cups Sugar |
| Combine and heat the following in a saucepan until almost boiling: |
| 1/2 tablespoon Butter |
| 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Essence |
| 1/4 cup Water |
| 1/4 cup Milk |
| Method: |
| 1. Preheat the oven to 180˚C. |
| 2. Grease a single 20 cm cake pan and set aside. |
| 3. Combine the sugar and eggs and beat until light and creamy. |
| 4. Gradually add the packet of flour. |
| 5. Lastly add the warm milk mixture. |
| 6. Place the batter in the cake pan and bake for 20 minutes. |
| 7. Remove the cake from the pan and allow to cool completely before decorating. |
