| You will need: |
| 1 x Nonna’s Chocolate Cake Mix |
| 5 extra large Eggs or equivalent substitute |
| 250 g Butter, softened or 200ml unflavoured vegetable oil |
| 60 ml Milk or dairy substitute |
| Method: |
| 1. Place castor sugar (included in this packet) and butter in a bowl and using an electrical mixer, blend until light and creamy. |
| 2. Add the eggs one by one and mix well after each addition. |
| 3. Sift dry ingredients in a separate bowl. |
| 4. Add the milk and dry ingredients to the sugar mixture. |
| 5. The batter will be thick with a smooth texture. |
| 6. Spoon the batter into two well greased 20 cm baking tins. |
| 7. Bake at 180°C for 35-40 minutes. Leave the cake to cool in the tins for 10 minutes before removing. |
