You will need: |
1 x Nonna’s Scone Mix |
1/4 cup Vegetable Oil |
1 large Egg or equivalent substitute |
Milk (approx 2/3 cup) |
Method: |
1. Measure the oil and place it in a 250ml measuring cup. Add the large egg to the oil and fill the cup with milk to the 250ml mark. Beat mixture lightly. |
2. Sift the dry ingredients and make a well in the centre. Pour the oil/egg/milk into the flour. Mix it lightly and quickly by using a round bladed knife. |
3. Spoon into a well greased muffin or baking pan and brush the tops with milk or egg. |
4. Bake at 220°C for 15-18 minutes. (Makes 8 scones) |
