| You will need: |
| 1 x Nonna’s Pizza Base Mix |
| 4 tablespoons Butter (56 g) |
| 100 ml Water |
| 1/2 cup Water to make the flour roux, method below |
| Method: |
| 1. Place the Flour Roux in a saucepan and add 1/2 cup water. Mix well. |
| 2. Place on low heat and stir continuously until it has a thick consistency like white sauce. |
| 3. Place the roux in a bowl and add the butter, mix well. |
| 4. Add the Pizza Base Flour and stir until it has a crumbly texture. |
| 5. Add the 100 ml water and knead by folding it over with a spoon until all the ingredients are well incorporated. |
| 6. Place the dough in the fridge for a few minutes to cool down completely. |
| 7. Place the dough on a lightly floured surface, cornstarch works best. Shape into a circle using a rolling pin. |
| 8. Add toppings and bake at 200˚C for approximately 20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. |
